Valentine’s day this year was more than I expected. I was prepared to be lonely without flowers, no card and no boy to take me out let alone to take home.

Of course the boys I would have expected something from didn’t do a thing, but to my surprise a nice boy from one of my classes decided to be a gentleman and take me to a diner for Valentines day. The sweet part about it was he took me to this diner because he thought out of all the places in London to go for something to eat, a diner would make me feel like I was a bit more at home than anything else; and I’ve been homesick lately for some odd reason.

We went to Profile a diner on Wardur Street located in Soho, London and while the service wasn’t the fastest, it was great. The atmosphere is posh and trendy, their french fries were great and the burger was amazing too.
